Janey Gordon is a leading academic in community radio. She is the author of several books about community media used in Universities across the country, and a Principle Lecturer in Media at the University of Bedfordshire.

The first round for Ofcom’s Community Radio Funding applications in 2012/3 will open on 9 April.

Grants can only be made to community radio licensees who are broadcasting under a community radio license. The latest application form and guidance notes are available from their website.

The deadline is 11 May 2012.
